About My Father

Sebastian (Sebastian Maniscalco) is invited by the super-rich and eccentric family of his girlfriend Ellie (Leslie Bibb) to a family weekend befitting his status. However, over the holiday of all things, which he normally spends with his father Salvo (Robert de Niro). So Ellie suggests without further ado that she simply take him along. But Salvo is the complete opposite of Ellie's family: a tradition-conscious Italian immigrant who earns his living - not without pride - as a hairdresser. And so two worlds collide that could not be more different. This leads to plenty of chaos...
