Play with the Devil & I’ll Remember You

In one film, young Basel film authors and musicians trace early pop music in Basel and Switzerland, while in the other film they document how a young band from Basel launched a global career from nothing. One film shows the stars of the 50s to 70s and asks how musicians grow older. The other film observes musicians from the current young generation with Manuel Gagneux from Basel at the centre. The evening on Münsterplatz not only documents music history, it also allows this music to be heard on the screen.
