What's Love Got To Do With It?

Filmmaker Zoe (Lily James) hasn't found her Mr. Right yet, even with all kinds of apps. At least she has a lot of funny anecdotes from her bad dates, which doesn't comfort her impatient mother Cath (Emma Thompson) either. For Zoe's childhood friend and neighbour Kazim (Shazad Latif), on the other hand, things are clear. He follows family tradition and chooses an arranged marriage. Zoe is stunned: doesn't love play any role at all for Kazim? She decides to accompany Kazim to the wedding in Pakistan with her camera. But what was planned as a film about an old tradition suddenly turns into a turbulent journey. Far away from home, Zoe discovers that love finds its way.
