This summer, we’re looking at things through a musical lens: films where music takes centre stage, tunes that stay in your head for days, and beats that make you want to dance.

Following on from "Summer of Love" and "Crime, Comedy, Chaos", this year’s theme is "Let’s Dance". On Saturdays, we’re bringing the most iconic dance films to the big screen – with "Mamma Mia!" and "The Blues Brothers", two classics are making a comeback on Münsterplatz, films that have had generations singing and tapping their feet for decades.

The musical highlight of the focus series is "Michael": the latest biopic about music legend Michael Jackson, which sheds light on his life and work from much-discussed perspectives. And with a soundtrack that could hardly be better.
